Faculty Can Apply for Funding for Science and Engineering Instruments

Friday, November 30 2012

The Office of Research and Economic Development is seeking funding requests for purchase of multi-user science or engineering instruments that would be difficult to obtain without financial assistance. If awarded, funding would be provided by the EPSCoR program's Research Infrastructure Improvement Grant award.
Requests must be for NSF grant-eligible activities that relate to EPSCoR’s Water Resources in a Changing Climate theme. Requests for funding up to $45,000 will be considered. Instruments for undergraduate instruction are not eligible. Faculty members may submit their requests through their department chairs and deans addressed to Jack McIver, Vice President for Research and Economic Development at vpresearch@uidaho.edu. The deadline for submission is the end of the day Friday, Dec. 7.
