Monday, August 25 2014

This fall the University’s Leadership Academy will launch its sixth cohort. The mission of the academy is to foster leadership within the institution through the participation of faculty and staff in a yearlong leadership experience. Following a competitive nomination and application process with over 40 applicants, thirteen faculty and staff members from the University’s statewide community were invited to participate in the 2014-15 program.

“As we begin the sixth year of the Leadership Academy, we are excited to bring together faculty and staff interested in developing their knowledge and skills, understanding of University leadership from many perspectives, and increasing our internal capacity as we support the development of strong leadership within the University community,” says Jeanne Stevenson, vice provost for academic affairs. “The continued investment in building a strong leadership core from within contributes to the University’s successes on many levels.”
