Auditorium Chamber Music Series Features The JACK Quartet Jan. 24 at U of I

MOSCOW, Idaho — Jan. 15, 2019 — Musical America’s Ensemble of the Year, the JACK Quartet, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, in the University of Idaho Administration Building Auditorium as part of the latest performance of the Auditorium Chamber Music Series (ACMS) 2018-19 season.
The JACK Quartet, comprised of two violinists, a violist and a cellist, collaborates with upcoming composers and performs contemporary string chamber music worldwide.
“ACMS is proud to present the 2019 Musical America Ensemble of the Year — the JACK Quartet,” said Leonard Garrison, director of the music series. “They’re a unique ensemble as they’re constantly featured in the New York Times and the New Yorker presenting cutting-edge programs.”
Tickets for the concert are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors 60 and older and $10 for students. Tickets are available at BookPeople in downtown Moscow, at auditoriumseries.org and at the door beginning at 7 p.m.
