University of Idaho Holding Open Theatre Auditions for Fall Season

MOSCOW, Idaho — Aug. 12, 2019 — Auditions for the University of Idaho’s 2019 fall theatre season will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Hartung Theater, 625 Stadium Drive, Moscow. Auditions are open to anyone with an interest in live theatre, including members of the Palouse community.
U of I’s Department of Theatre Arts will produce three fall productions: the dark comedy “Drowning Ophelia” by Rachel Luann Strayer, the drama “This Random World” by Steven Dietz and the Broadway musical “Little Women,” based on the classic novel.
Those auditioning should prepare a one-minute monologue and a musical theatre piece from a published musical that is 16 to 32 bars. More details, including sign-up information for a three-minute timeslot, are available at signupgenius.com/go/20f0d4aabad22a46-20191.
