Attend the Quarterly University Events Council Meeting April 8

Attend the university-wide Events Council meeting from 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 8, via Zoom. The Events Council serves the U of I community by sharing event resources and best practices, providing onboarding and training, matching up experienced people on campus as mentors to new staff and unifying or streamlining the events processes. Register online.
Who should attend?
- Colleagues who interact at a minimum level with one event or meeting per year;
- Colleagues who plan events year-round and it’s a significant portion of their job description;
- A novice to the event, conference and meeting world wanting to learn more; and
- Well-seasoned event professionals.
The feedback and input from all experience levels, including from locations in Coeur d’Alene, Boise, Idaho Falls and Extension sites, is welcome and appreciated. Several topics will be discussed and acted upon at the meeting.
