Landscape Design Students Seek Projects; Request Deadline is March 1
February 13, 2020
Do you have a new residence that needs a landscape design? Or do you wish to have a design to renovate your existing landscape? Students in Landscape Architecture 289/489 are ready to assist you. For over three decades, students in the class have prepared landscape planting plans for clients in the Moscow area. The class is seeking clients for this spring. The deadline to request a design is March 1.
Projects begin after Spring Break and will be completed by early May. There are no limits on lot size. The students will question the clients to better determine their wishes. Students benefit from the real-life experience, while property owners receive a design with a $200 donation to the Landscape Architecture Scholarship Fund. A typical landscape design could cost $2,500. Students do not perform the labor in the yard such as planting the trees.
