Progress Survey Engages Campus to Support Students
Starting this week and through Tuesday, Feb. 18, course instructors will evaluate students’ academic progress for the spring term using the online VandalStar Progress Survey. This assessment tool and process gives instructors an immediate way to notify students who are earning a D, F and/or having attendance issues. Students receive an email directly from VandalStar and will also see a VandalStar system alert “flag” on their dashboard.
The goal of the progress survey is to provide early detection of student academic issues and to encourage students to seek out help from instructors, advisors and support staff while taking advantage of available campus academic resources. Progress Surveys also assist advisors and support staff by connecting them with students in a timely, coordinated way through VandalStar.
