Admin Parking Lot Closed During Construction

October 12, 2020

The Campus Drive/Administration Building Circle Construction Project requires the closure of the main entrance to Gold Lot 40 (Administration Building) via Campus Drive from Monday, Oct. 19, to Monday, Nov. 9. While prep and concrete pouring will only take a few days, the concrete will require three weeks of curing. Gold parking permit holders may take advantage of nearby parking in Gold Lot 39 (Memorial Gym), Orange Lot 41 (Hampton), Gold Lot 46 (between Hampton and Blake) and Gold Lot 97 (University Avenue). We understand this will add to your walk and appreciate your flexibility and patience.

Gold permit holders with a state disability parking placard/plate who have not already obtained a U of I Disability Parking Permit may obtain a U of I Temporary Disability Permit at no additional charge by submitting a U of I Temporary Disability permit application. This would allow access to the ADA spaces adjacent to the Administration Building. Another option for Vandals who experience great difficulty walking 200 feet or more would be the free Vandal Access service, which operates during fall and spring academic sessions only, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Contact Facilities at facilities@uidaho.edu for project information. Email parking@uidaho.edu for parking, transportation and mobility information.
