Participate in a Study Examining the Effects of Sitting on Vascular Health

The Exercise Physiology Research Laboratory is looking for men and women age 35-60 who are generally healthy to participate in a study examining the effects of a single bout of sitting on markers of vascular health. The study consists of two visits to the lab, totaling approximately five hours.
Measurements that will be taken throughout the study include a body composition assessment, blood sample to measure blood sugar, fats, markers related to vascular function, and leg blood flow using an ultrasound.
