Goldwater Scholarship Campus Deadline Announced

Sophomores and juniors who intend to pursue research careers in mathematics, natural sciences or engineering should consider applying for the prestigious national Goldwater Scholarship. Scholarships of up to $7,500 each will be awarded in spring 2020 for the final one or two years of undergraduate study for students who are planning STEM careers. The campus deadline for applications is Monday, Nov. 25.

Candidates can review eligibility requirements and complete the pre-application on the Goldwater Scholarship website. Qualified students must then submit the full application by the University of Idaho campus deadline: 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25. All complete applications submitted by this date will be reviewed by a campus committee who will determine which students to nominate for the national competition.
