Participate in a Study Examining the Effects of Sitting on Vascular Function

The Exercise Physiology Research Lab is seeking generally healthy adults aged 35-60, who have either been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes or have never been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, to participate in a study investigating the effects of sitting on vascular function.
The study will require two laboratory visits totaling approximately five hours. Measurements taken throughout the study include a body composition assessment, blood draw to measure blood sugar, fats and markers related to vascular health and leg blood flow using ultrasound.
