What to Remember About Spring Break Parking

February 27, 2019

U of I Parking and Transportation Services would like to remind the campus community about parking enforcement regulations during spring break, Monday through Friday, March 11-15.

  • No overnight parking or vehicle storage is allowed on any campus streets during break. Vehicles in violation may be cited and/or towed.
  • Vehicle storage and overnight parking during spring break is allowed in Purple or Silver parking lots (not streets).
  • A permit is not required for daytime parking (6 a.m. to 2 a.m.) in Orange, Red, Blue, Purple and Silver lots during spring break.
  • Overnight enforcement of Gold, Orange, Red and Blue parking lots remains unchanged during spring break.

For complete information on break parking, view the Parking Enforcement Schedule. Regular enforcement resumes at 2 a.m. Monday, March 18.

If you need a ride to your spring break destination or would like some passengers to help pay for gas, post your ride on U of I's Zimride.

Have a wonderful spring break!
