Review Staff Council Committee Opportunities

Staff Council is looking for enthusiastic board-appointed staff members to fill positions with a start date of June 1, 2019. Staff Council's mission is to promote recognition, empowerment, advocacy and leadership necessary to create a professional, collegial environment and work experience for staff members employed at the University of Idaho.
Staff Council’s purpose is to study the issues, problems, welfare and working conditions for staff members and to advise on salary and promotion matters. The council envisions a safe, professional, collegial and equitable environment for all staff members.
There are several opportunities to serve on a number of University committees. The committees are as follows:
- Americans with Disabilities Act
- Borah Foundation
- University Budget & Finance (Three positions available)
- Campus Planning
- Classified Position Appeal Board
- Faculty and Staff Policy Group
- Grievance for Student Employees
- Staff Compensation (Three positions available)
- Student Conduct Board (Two positions available)
