Moscow Campus IT Support Staff Requests Your Patience
April 23, 2019
IT Local Support including your Technology Solutions Partners are very busy with Central Device Management (CDM) project work through May 24, 2019. We kindly ask for your patience during this period as most IT support staff are involved in the effort.
- Priority will be given to technology issues that halt or severely affect productivity.
- Requests or issues where business or academic services are unaffected will be given lower priority and will get attention as time allows through May 24.
- Submit requests immediately to make a purchase before the end of the fiscal year to assure sufficient time to process and receive the orders before the middle of June.
- As always, if you have an urgent issue, visit support.uidaho.edu and click the yellow “Submit an Incident” button on the left side of the portal window.
The Central Device Management (CDM) program is part of the IT Best Use Initiative which is a high level and university-wide IT focus on prioritization, simplification and eliminating duplication. The IT Best Use Initiative programs address commentary from U of I leadership to improve technology support as well as Idaho State Board of Education initiatives and executive orders. The initiative will create consistency, enhance support and stabilize costs.
