Global Student Success Program Present Spring Lecture Series

As part of the GSSP Spring Lecture Series, Katie Schiffelbeing, director of the American Language and Culture Program in U of I's International Programs Office, and Ibtesam Hussein, Ph.D., will discuss university faculty perceptions of teaching English language learners. They will share challenges and preparation strategies, and will propose best practices to engage and support emergent multilinguals. The lecture will take place from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, March 8, in TLC 145.
