Register Early for the IDEO 2017 Conference

Register by Sept.29 to receive the early bird rate for the Idaho Dance Education Organization (IDEO) annual conference held at the University of Idaho on Saturday, Oct. 28. This year the conference theme is "Embodying Healthy Practices." The registration cost by Sept. 29 is $50, and $65 after this date. Students receive a discount rate of $35. A Friday Teacher Workshop from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 27, and address by keynote speaker, Mary Seereiter, is available for $25. The Friday workshop and full-day Saturday conference provide great opportunities for current educators to receive professional development credit and for future teachers to network and learn ways to utilize movement to support learning. The conference also offers opportunities for early childhood educators to receive training hours through IdahoSTARS as well as sessions designed for high school dance students.
