Benefits Vendor Forum and Flu Shots Oct. 2

September 07, 2017

All benefit-eligible faculty or staff members are invited to attend a Benefits Vendor Forum hosted by HR Benefit Services from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, in the Pitman Center International Ballroom.

The event begins UI's 2018 annual enrollment, and employees will have the opportunity to learn about  health plans, spending accounts and retirement plans by exploring booths hosted by our vendor partners, including Blue Cross of Idaho, Delta Dental, Willamette Dental, Health Equity, Wage Works, TIAA, Valic and PERSI to name just a few. Other vendor representatives will also attend.

This year, we are excited to offer question and answer forums where you will have a chance to learn more about specific benefit topics from a panel of experts. Panel participants will include members from the benefits team as well as vendor partner representatives. Forum topics include:

  • Taking Charge of and Understanding your Medical and RX Plans

  • Financial Planning for your Retirement

  • Understanding Vision and Dental Plans

  • Advantages of Pre-Tax Health Savings

You are encouraged to visit each vendor booth throughout the day, ask questions and gain the knowledge needed to make sound benefit choices for you and your family. Flu shots will be available throughout day until supplies are exhausted.

Annual enrollment for 2018 begins Oct. 16 and is open through Nov. 7.
