Teaching and Learning Workshops for Fall 2017

September 05, 2017

The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning's fall workshop series theme is Increasing our Educational Impact. In collaboration with the Doceo Center, our goal is to bring this cornerstone of the Strategic Plan to life through the development and proliferation of innovative teaching and learning experiences. Workshops are open to all instructors and professional staff members and are customizable to all learning modalities (face-to-face, online, hybrid, and collaborative) and environments (campus, community, and global). Please register now to attend.

Our center also provides expert consultation for turning teaching and learning innovations into scholarship, so many of our sessions will discuss strategies and support for preparing, presenting, and publishing your scholarship of teaching, learning, and engagement.

We are pleased to announce that invited guest speaker Todd Zakrajsek, author of "Teaching for Learning: 101 Intentionally Designed Activities to Put Students on the Path to Success" and "New Science of Learning: How to Learn in Harmony with Your Brain," will  speak at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 8 in the Idaho Commons Whitewater Room. Register for this presentation now on our workshop and events website.
