Sustainability Leadership Program
Join a student-led program that explores the big questions of sustainability and engages active change makers to improve sustainability at the University of Idaho.
Participants will meet weekly for 12 weeks in the fall semester to discuss current sustainability issues such as community building, alternative transportation and food systems, with the goal of developing a deeper understanding of the challenges we face. In the spring semester participants will put those ideas into action through a semester-long campus project. These projects will culminate in a Sustainability Showcase to celebrate successes. Students can participate for one semester or two. Internship credit is available through the Environmental Science program. All majors and all years are encouraged to join. No previous experience necessary.
During spring semester 2021, weekly zoom meetings are held on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:45 p.m., with optional activities at other times. The leadership program begins on January 26 and ends on April 20, 2021. The deadline to sign up for Spring 2021 is January 20.
