This inspectors field guide is based on the “Guide to Seed Potato Field Inspection: Recommended Practices” produced by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe committee on standards. This handbook is designed to provide general guidelines for assessing certified seed potato fields for important faults including disease, insect infestation, varietal mixtures, herbicide injury and other field related issues that are common across all seed potato producing areas.
