Idaho Water Resources Research Institute (IWRRI)

IWRRI supports and directs water research for the state of Idaho and the region. Over 80 faculty from five colleges are involved in the institutes interdisciplinary research in water quality, water supply and water management. Learn more about IWRRI.

Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research

The Institute for Bioinformatics and Evolutionary Studies

The Institute for Bioinformatics and Evolutionary Studies (IBEST) is an interdisciplinary research group at the University of Idaho focused on understanding the patterns and processes of evolution that occur over comparatively short periods of time. Idaho Geological Survey

IGS collects, interprets, and disseminates geologic and mineral data for the state of Idaho. Members of the Idaho Geological Survey staff acquire geologic information through field and laboratory investigations and through cooperative programs with other governmental and private agencies.
