The College Assistance Migrant Program Alumni Association (CAMPAA) is a non-profit organization that collaborates with the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) to provide financial and academic support services to students.
CAMP provides first-generation, low-income students first-year financial and on-going academic support. Since 1972, CAMP grants boast college retention rates of more than 90 percent.
We believe a key component to a student’s long-term success within higher education can be significantly enhanced by experiencing effective internships and service learning. Organizations that decide to strategically partner with CAMPAA will obtain an edge over industry competition by hiring our students and alumni. CAMP students are typically bilingual (Spanish), focused, hard-working, appreciative, loyal and tested student leaders. Our mentorship values focus on academics, community service and leadership.
