This is the overarching, non-endowed fund established for honorably separated veterans with service connected injury caused or aggravated by military service after September 11, 2001. Spouses of above mentioned veterans may also be eligible.

Operation Education Support Fund

This non-endowed fund was created to provide support for veterans and their spouses who are participating in the OPED and associated endowment scholarship programs at the University of Idaho. It will be distributed to provide discretionary strategic and flexible support for the program and scholarship in order to fulfill its mission.

Ware Endowment

This scholarship was established by Barbara and Wray Featherstone, Jr. in honor of Barbara's brother Lt. Donald Frank Ware, and his affiliation with the University of Idaho and the U.S. Air Force. Recipient must be an honorably separated veteran with service connected injury caused or aggravated by military service after September 11, 2001, or the spouse of said veteran. Priority goes to veterans who are Idaho residents with a disability resulting from action in the combat zone.
