Internships
Internships are a great way for students to get out there and experience what it’s like to be a scientist in the professional world. Many students from each of our departments have held internships over the years with private companies such as Intel and Boise Cascade, as well as with state and federal governmental agencies, including the Department of Ecology and NASA.

Other Internship Options
Other ways to find an internship:
- Career Center: This on-campus resource helps students craft resumes, hone interview skills and connect with prospective employers.
- Networking and building connections: Some students find an internship through their own research or through personal networks (friends, family, faculty members, etc.).
All internships must be preapproved before credit can be granted.
