Science is all about discovery, so learning science is an adventure. In the University of Idaho’s College of Science, students have the opportunity to engage in that adventure.
We like to say that the College of Science at the University of Idaho is big enough to matter, but still small enough to care. We have an approachable faculty, world-class facilities, plus abundant research opportunities — even at the undergraduate level. Combined, our seven departments offer nine undergraduate degrees.
At the graduate level, students learn to apply proven research methods, generate novel research approaches and methods, and evaluate evidence to solve complex problems.
