Cross-Country Skiing

cross countryLayer up, clip on your skis, and kick, glide, and skate your way over the snow. In your first year of this three-year project, you’ll learn basic technique and also cover safety, nutrition, and the environment. In year two, move up to advanced skiing techniques, learn first aid and orienteering, and plan a 2- to 3-hour trip. In year three, work on physical conditioning leading up to a full-day ski trip.
