Grants

For UI Extension county personnel and 4-H shooting sports instructors looking to secure additional resources, several grant programs exist. They fund basic equipment (bows, arrows, firearms) or accessories (ammunition, arrow nets, backstops, targets, etc.) to help enhance or expand local programs. Below is a list of organizations we are currently aware of that offer support for the 4-H Shooting Sports program:

• Civilian Marksmanship Program
• Easton Foundation (recurve archery only)
• Federal Premium Ammunition (annual discount shotgun and .22 ammunition notices emailed to county office)
• Friends of NRA/NRA Foundation
• Midway USA
• Tri-State Outfitters
