Academic Support and Access Programs

  • Academic Support and Access Programs offers three unique programs designed to provide you with academic services in an accessible, supportive environment. These include tutoring services, Student Support Services/TRiO, and Disability Support Services.

Writing Center

  • The Writing Center is a collaborative learning program dedicated to providing one-on-one assistance to student writers. Whether you need a paper looked at for editing, or are just starting out with a topic, the Writing Center is a great resource.

Career Center

  • The Career Center provides assistance in identifying career and major interests, developing skills and experience through experiential learning opportunities, preparing professional job/intern application materials, education students on job search strategies, and preparing students for interviews.

Math and Statistics Help

  • The University of Idaho has locations on campus that can help you with your mathematics and statistics courses.
  • Students needing help in math classes, the Polya Mathematics Center is a useful location that will aid you in your course work.
  • Students needing help with statistics, the Statistics Assistance Center (located on the first floor of the library) is a great resource.

  • The University of Idaho Library provides you with a wealth of both digital and physical resources to aide you with research with studies. With over 1 million books and almost 10,000 periodical subscriptions, the library is your information source on campus. They can aide you in researching, class projects, and even how to utilize scholarly search engines.
