Make a Difference Day takes place during one weekend every fall, and connects 350-400 student volunteers with various service projects around the community. Students may sign up to volunteer individually as well as a part of a club, living group or class to be placed together at one volunteer site. Projects in the past have included assisting at Orphan Acres Horse Rehabilitation, planting trees as part of watershed restoration efforts with PCEI, playing games or carving pumpkins at local senior centers, and large scale maintenance projects in at local parks and schools.
This year, the University of Idaho celebrated it's 14th Make a Difference Day, representing thousands of students completing hundreds of hours of community service on the Palouse. Keep the tradition strong by joining in the movement!
