Are the holidays tough on your waistline?

Join our holiday fitness challenge and keep the holiday weight gain and stress at bay this year!  Our goal is to help you stay consistent with your workouts during a very busy and calorie filled time of year.

Week 2 Form

  • Program Dates

    November 24 - January 4 (six weeks)

  • Who can participate?

    Who can participate?

    The challenge is free and open to all University faculty and staff.  You do not have to have a membership to the SRC or Wellness Program, all are welcome to participate.

  • How do the rules work?

    The Rules

    1.  Form a team (3-5 people) and designate a team captain. Register your Team (you will need the names and emails of your team members and an awesome team name).
    2.  Stay active.  It's that simple.  As long as you are movin' and shakin', it counts.
    3.  Eat healthy and in moderation but enjoy the holiday fare.
    4.  Submit points weekly, beginning on Nov. 24.  Team captains will enter in all points and submit them online.
  • How Does the Point System Work?
    Activity Points per half hour
    High Cardio (Spinning, RIPPED, TRX, Running) 3 points
    Medium Cardio (Zumba, Elliptical, Stationary Bike, Jogging) 2 points
    Strength Training 2 points
    Resistance Training (Chisel & Sculpt, Gravity) 2 points
    Flexibility (Yoga, Tai Chi, Stretching) 1 point
    Outside Work hard (Raking Leaves, Shoveling Snow) 2 points
    Outside Work medium (Walking Dog, Walking) 1 point
  • What Forms Does the Team Captain Fill Out Each Week?


    Team Captains use the forms below to submit points weekly, beginning on Nov. 24. When the form is complete email it it to

    Week 1 Form: Nov. 24-30
    Week 2 Form: Dec. 1-7
    Week 3 Form: Dec. 8-14
    Week 4 Form: Dec. 15-21
    Week 5 Form: Dec 22-28
    Week 6 Form: Dec 29-Jan

  • What about prizes?


    Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams and we will have weekly drawings for teams who enter each week. Prizes include: gift cards, team lunch party, SRC and Wellness passes.  Winning team will have their photo taken along with bragging rights.
