Tutoring
University of Idaho Tutoring & College Success Programs offer many options for students interested in receiving assistance with courses.
Students may arrive to drop-in tutoring sessions anytime within the session, but should arrive to drop-ins sessions with questions, notes, and/ or tests as a starting point. Students should be aware that sessions end at the exact times written on the schedule. Tutors may not spend more time at a drop-in than listed to assist students.
Small Group Tutoring
Small study groups (3-6 students in the same course) may request a tutor to facilitate structured, weekly 1-hour sessions. Small groups participating in tutoring must adhere to Tutoring Expectations, including full group participation, punctuality and timeliness, and arriving prepared to sessions.To request a Small Group Tutor:
- Complete the online form or print a Small Group Tutor Request and return it to the TAAP Office in Commons, Rm 306.
- Respond to tutor emails requesting potential times/ dates within 3 days by choosing Reply All.
Drop-In Tutoring
Drop-in tutoring is available for all University of Idaho students. Currently, drop-in tutoring is available in the Library, Jensen Engineering Building thinkTank, and the College of Natural Resources Study Center.Students may arrive to drop-in tutoring sessions anytime within the session, but should arrive to drop-ins sessions with questions, notes, and/ or tests as a starting point. Students should be aware that sessions end at the exact times written on the schedule. Tutors may not spend more time at a drop-in than listed to assist students.

Individual Tutoring
Individual Tutoring is only available through TAAP for students actively participating in the Student Support Services Program.Advising Appointments
Individual appointments can be made with Tutoring & College Success staff to assist students in determining their tutoring and college success needs, as well as to answer questions and provide resources about the University of Idaho.
