University of Idaho Tutoring & College Success Programs offer many options for students interested in receiving assistance with courses.
Small Group Tutoring
Small study groups (3-6 students in the same course) may
request a tutor to facilitate structured, weekly 1-hour sessions. Small groups participating in tutoring must adhere to Tutoring Expectations, including full group participation, punctuality and timeliness, and arriving prepared to sessions.
To request a Small Group Tutor:
- Complete the online form or print a Small Group Tutor Request and return it to the TAAP Office in Commons, Rm 306.
- Respond to tutor emails requesting potential times/ dates within 3 days by choosing Reply All.
Supplemental Instruction
Taking a tough class this semester? Supplemental Instruction targets historically difficult courses with D/F/W rates above 30%. A handful of sections are being supported Fall 2013. Check back to see if yours is one of them!
Individual Tutoring
Individual Tutoring is only available through TAAP for students actively participating in the
Student Support Services Program.
Advising Appointments
Individual appointments can be made with Tutoring & College Success staff to assist students in determining their tutoring and college success needs, as well as to answer questions and provide resources about the University of Idaho.
