TCS is here to provide strategies for success in these and many other aspects of life in college.
INTR 101: Focus on Success Courses
INTR 101 is a course offered to all University of Idaho students focused on developing strategies for setting academic goals, and coping with course work. This includes study strategies, university orientation, learning styles, purpose of college, and career options. These goals are reached by focusing on the following:
- Increasing your independence as a learner
- Defining your career goals and major
- Learning how personality and learning style influence success
- Learning and applying successful study methods
- Financial Literacy
- Graduate School information
- Discovering University of Idaho opportunities
INTR 101 is offered each semester with 16- and 8-week options. Register online by searching INTR 101 Focus on Success!
College Success Presentations
Students, staff, and faculty may request personalized presentations on success strategies. Fill out the online Presentation Request or complete the printable Presentation Request and email to email@example.com
or return to the TAAP office in the Idaho Commons, Rm 306.
Individual appointments can be made with Tutoring & College Success staff to assist students in determining their tutoring and college success needs, as well as to answer questions and provide resources about the University of Idaho.
