Check Out These New TELUS Health CBT Offerings
TELUS Health CBT (formerly known as AbilitiCBT) is an internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy program available at no cost to benefit-eligible employees and family members. Check out these new programs through TELUS Health CBT that can help you be your best self and address problems proactively and early.
- Burnout: Feeling tired, disinterested and like you’ve had enough? Address your burnout, or recognize the signs of it approaching.
- Task management: Procrastinating and getting sidetracked are normal human experiences. But they’re also things you can work on. Explore the new Goal Management Training program, backed by neuroscience, to help you keep your focus.
- Early intervention for substance abuse: If you’re starting to notice an unhealthy pattern with alcohol or drug use by you or a covered dependent, get help early. Cognitive behavioral therapy offers a no-shame way to train your brain to think differently about substances.
More information about these programs can be found on TELUS Health CBT’s website. You can also learn about these new resources at an upcoming webinar: Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 10 a.m. Pacific time.
Find Tips to Adjust Your HSA Contributions
If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA), you can update your contribution amount at any time during the year — not just during Annual Enrollment. Review your paystub and double-check that you’re not contributing less, or more, than you want to. To change your contribution amount, follow the instructions on the HSA Tip Sheet.
Back to School ... for You Too?
We’re a community of lifelong learners. That’s why the university encourages eligible employees to enroll in heavily discounted classes.
Board-appointed employees can enroll in up to six credits in both the fall and spring semesters, and up to three credits during the summer session, for a $20 registration fee and only $5 per credit plus any special lab and course fees.
Your spouse and dependent children may be eligible for reduced tuition too. Visit the Student Accounts webpage (look under Employee Forms) for more information.
