Moscow High School Goes Airborne

Ten students from the Moscow High School (MHS) math-based physics class enrolled in the University of Idaho (UI) ENGR 204 Near Space Engineering class in the Fall 2009 semester, and eight students enrolled in the same class in Spring 2010. Of these eight spring students, three will be enrolling in engineering at UI in Fall 2010. The MHS balloon program works very closely with the UI Near Space Engineering team.

The high school balloon team launched a balloon in April 2010 that reached approximately 90,000 feet.
