Most memorable CNR experience: My most memorable CNR experience came last February, when my team won the coveted Rangeland Cup in a competition at the International Society for Rangeland Management annual meeting for our project on “Resolving Habitat Conflicts between the Greater Sage-Grouse and Long-Billed Curlew.” We had put in hours of preparation for the competition-researching the topic, creating a poster and video, and practicing our presentation- and the hard work truly paid off when they called “University of Idaho” at the awards ceremony and we were able to bring the beautiful trophy back home with us.

“If you want to build a ship, don’t herd people together to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea”. —Antoine de Saint-Exupery
