Posted Tue, 23 May 2017 15:50:00 -0700The University of Idaho Dance Program will host the Idaho Dance Education Organization's (IDEO) third annual conference, "Embodying Healthy Practices" Oct. 28 in Moscow. Faculty and students in various disciplines are encouraged to register and submit proposals to share expertise on healthy practices that could benefit a variety of movement disciplines while networking with colleagues across the state and Northwest region. Proposal submissions are due June 1. A variety of session formats (movement, exploration, lectures, panel discussions and performances) will be provided to support professional development for movement teachers, K-12 and early childhood educators, dance studio owners, and dance students ages 12 and older. Professional development credit for K-12 and early childhood educators will be available. Read more

K-12 educators, dance and physical education teachers, dance studio owners and early childhood professionals have until June 1 to submit proposals to present at the conference on Saturday, Oct. 28.
