For helpful information about services and resources available to you as a Coeur d’Alene student, please visit our Student Resources page.
As a new student, there are several things you need to do:
- Account Set-Up – This includes your student email, and a Net ID for access to Vandalweb and BbLearn. Information Technology Services has a video and step-by-step instructions for how to set up these accounts. Need additional help with your accounts? Contact the Help Desk at 208-885-HELP or via email.
- Meet with an Advisor – Your advisor will help you choose your courses each semester. Connect with an advisor today.
- Register for Classes – Registration begins in April for summer and fall semesters, and in November for the spring semester. The Registrar's Office has information for students new to the registration process. You will register online via VandalWeb. Please contact our office if you need assistance with registration at 208-667-2588 or firstname.lastname@example.org. View the Coeur d'Alene class schedule for a list of available courses.
If you are concurrently enrolled at North Idaho College (NIC) and the University of Idaho and want to receive financial aid through UI, you must go to the Financial Aid Office at NIC and complete a Concurrent Enrollment Form with them for each semester of concurrent enrollment. The form will be sent to the UI Student Financial Aid Services office to document the number of credits taken each semester so that financial aid can be awarded.
For Institutions Other than NIC – If you would like to receive financial aid from the University of Idaho while attending both UI and another institution or solely attending another institution, a Consortium Agreement Form must be completed each semester. Read the Consortium Agreement.
