Applications Open for Dig'nIT Summer Camps and High School Internships in Coeur d'Alene

Applications for the U of I Coeur d'Alene Dig'nIT Initiative STEM summer camps and high school tech internships are open now! Students ages 11-18 can learn cool skills like how to make their own cosmetic products in Cosmetic Chemistry, how to build a game in Java Coding Workshop and how to code in Apple's Swift language in Coding Swift camp. High school tech internships are a paid opportunity for teens to learn and work directly in a high-tech, high-growth company with university support. World Expert on Diseases Carried by Ticks, Mosquitoes Speaks June 29 at U of I

A world expert on vector-borne diseases, such as those carried by ticks and mosquitoes, will speak at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 29, on the fourth floor of the Idaho Commons on the University of Idaho campus. Ron Rosenberg of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is director for science in the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases vector-borne diseases division.
