Andrea Alberto Dutto is an assistant professor of architecture at University of Idaho. Previously he was a research and teaching associate at the Department of Architectural Theory of the RWTH Aachen University (Germany). From 2018 to 2021, he was a postdoctoral researcher and adjunct professor (2019/20) at the Politecnico di Torino (Italy).

Andrea Alberto Dutto is an assistant professor of architecture at University of Idaho. Previously he was a research and reaching associate at the Department of Architectural Theory of the RWTH Aachen University (Germany). From 2018 to 2021, he was a postdoctoral researcher and adjunct professor (2019/20) at the Politecnico di Torino (Italy). He has contributed to numerous international research projects in the domains of architectural theory, urban and territorial design. In 2017, he completed his doctorate at the RWTH Aachen University in co-tutelle with Politecnico di Torino where his research was awarded the Doctoral Student Award in 2015. His research concerns the tools and techniques of architectural design with a focus on handbooks and catalogs. In 2010, he received a dual degree master in architecture as a joint degree between the ENSA Marseille (France) and the Politecnico di Torino.
