U of I Boise Student Services
Once a U of I student reaches 90 credits or receives a degree, they become a member of the Alumni Association. Students who complete a U of I master’s, doctorate, Ed.D or J.D. are also considered alumni. It’s a non-dues paying program and gives you access to all graduate resources that Alumni Relations offers, such as insurance discounts, alumni email and assistance from the U of I Career Services in finding employment or spicing up your resume. U of I Boise Alumni Relations office is located at the IWC suite 200. Contact sandyl@udaho.edu for any questions.
Child care is available for children of U of I Boise students through Boise State Children’s Center. The Children’s Center has a priority for enrollment and considers applications first from BSU students, then BSU employees and finally community members. Applications for child care for employees and students of U of I Boise will be considered after BSU employees but before community members. U of I Boise employees and students are personally responsible for all fees charged by The Children’s Center and will be charged the rate for community members (Rate C of the Children’s Center tiered fee scheduled).
Some departments provide mailboxes for their students. See the administrative support person in your unit for information. An outgoing U.S.P.S. is located on the first floor, directly across from the locker rooms.
Vending machines are located in the Idaho Water Center on the first floor, along the center hallway just past the restrooms.
