Undergraduate Degrees & Programs

Lower-division courses in civil engineering consist of a common core of basic courses in science, mathematics and engineering required of most students in the College of Engineering.

Civil engineering courses at the junior level introduce the subject matter of the civil engineering sub-disciplines, while the senior level courses add depth in elective areas.

Design procedures are introduced in the first and second year of the program, are intensified in the third year required courses, and culminate in significant design experiences in technical elective courses in the fourth year.

The Civil & Environmental Engineering undergraduate degree program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.
