Summer 2017 Graduate without Summer Registration

Spring 2017 registration required. International Students must register for a minimum of 1 credit.

Thesis/Dissertation Students

  • May 19: Final day to complete a successful final defense. Submit your thesis or dissertation for the first format review one week prior to your final defense. (This does not need to be your final draft.)
  • May 26: Deadline to submit the final version of your document to ETD (this is the fully revised—both content and format—version that will be published online). Contact Kathy Duke if you require assistance submitting your document.
  • June 2: Final day to submit the printed bond copy of your document to Morrill Hall 104 without summer registration. Theses or dissertations received after this date will require Summer 2017 registration.

Non-Thesis Students

  • June 2: Deadline to submit the Non-Thesis Report form to the College of Graduate Studies.

International Applications Deadlines

  • Fall semester (August to December): May 1
  • Spring semester (January to May): Oct. 1
  • Summer session (Begins mid May): March 15

Note for International Applicants: To provide time for evaluation, for notice of admission status to reach the applicant, and for USICE requirements to be met for issuance of a student visa, applications and credentials should be received by the Graduate Admissions Office no later than the above dates.
