Sarb Membership 2014

Elise Moote | President

elise-mooteYear in school: Junior going on Senior
Hometown: Nampa, Idaho
Major: Premed, Psychology

Other Interests/Activities: Being involved with my Greek Chapter and being a part of Panhellenic E-board, cheering on my Vandals, meeting and recruiting the next generation of Vandals, and singing the fight song.

Favorite thing about SArb: SArb has a unique atmosphere that makes you proud to be a Vandal. SArb also provides amazing opportunities, from welcoming new students and planning parents weekends to attending galas with distinguished alumni and donors.

Duties: Works directly with advisers, plans meeting agendas and oversees SArb officers. Maintains eight office hours per week (paid). Directs professional development, Moms' & Dads' weekend committees,  and GOLD program chairs. Serves as official representative of SArb on campus and district/national conventions (ex: CASE-ASAP).


Emily Kay Rasch | Vice President

Major: Public Relations/Organizational Sciences

Other interests:
Member of Kappa Alpha Theta, assistant homecoming chair, works at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre, Coaches 16u Club volleyball, loves musicals and traveling

Favorite SArb memory:
Helmkat Club every week! Loves serious SArbie bonding!

Duties:
Plans and facilitates new member recruitment and fills in for the president when necessary. Maintains one office hour per week (unpaid). Direct new member education and Silver & Gold Committee chairs.


Sam Koester | Secretary

Favorite thing about SArb:
My favorite thing about SArb is the community we develop with our members through the love for our alma mater and alumni. We are truly a huge SArbie family!!!

Duties:
Maintains meetings minutes, member attendance and incentives. Manages SArb email and maintains four office hours per week (paid). Directs community Easter Egg Hunt Committee chair.


Victoria Plaster | Treasurer

Favorite thing about SArb:
How we are all a cohesive group who love the University of Idaho and strive to get to know the faculty, students and alumni of Idaho.

Duties: Works with advisers and president regarding budget, income and expenditures. Maintains one office hour per week (unpaid). Directs Tradition Keeper Program chairs.

Other Interests/Activities: Watching cat videos, playing horseshoes, cribbage and being a quasi-film critic.

Favorite thing about SArb: The Welcome Back BBQ and Vandal Walk.

Duties: Collaborates with secretary for incentive program, organizes SArBBQ and SArb Spirit Week. Creates team building activities. Maintains one office hour per week (unpaid). Directs Vandal Pride Program chairs.


Ayla Neumeyer | External Public Relations

Major: Agribusiness
Minor: Political Science

Other Interests/Activities: CALS Ambassador, Homecoming Committee, ICUB Volunteer, Googling all of life’s questions, starting crafts with no intention to finish them and drinking coffee.

Favorite thing about SArb: Having the opportunity to give past, present and future Vandals the chance to participate in our university’s amazing traditions and make memories they will never forget.

Duties: Responsible for publicity, advertising, website management and promotional events on campus. Events include Vandal Friday, Palousafest, Student Involvement Fair, etc. Maintains one office hour per week (unpaid). Directs Gradfest and Vandal Walk Committee chairs.
