Why did YOU choose the University of Idaho?
Many members of my family are Vandal Alumni, so growing up I spent a lot of time in Moscow, Idaho. I fell in love with the campus and culture of the university and community. I was interested in marketing and foreign languages. The University of Idaho had everything I was looking for and more. I was very impressed by the College of Business and Economics and the unique Integrated Business Curriculum (IBC) program.
Favorite campus activities:
- Football and basketball games in the Kibbie Dome
- Homecoming parade and festivities
- Walking through the arboretum in the fall and spring
- The Jazz Festival
- Cruise the World
Favorite local activity:
What I love about the city of Moscow is its proximity to some fantastic outdoor activities. Located on the beautiful rolling hills of the Palouse, every distinct season offers unique possibilities to get outside. Among my favorite things to do locally are fishing, hiking, camping, and mountain biking.
Favorite local restaurant:
Sangria is one of my favorite local restaurants. The menu is diverse and always offers something new and delicious.
Advice for your students:
Take advantage of all the opportunities that lay before you. There is so much to do and get involved in whether on campus or in the community.
