Q&A WITH MONZE
The best thing about the University of Idaho:
The atmosphere! I am a first generation student coming from a small town and never thought I would like Moscow, but when I first stepped onto campus, I felt right at home. The campus was big enough for me to meet and explore with new people but small enough that I met people that I will cherish forever.
Favorite local restaurant:
Casa Lopez is my favorite local restaurant. I love the atmosphere and the great service; not to mention I love Mexican Food.
Favorite local activity:
My favorite Local Activity is the Moscow Renaissance Fair that takes place every first week of the month of May. The Renaissance Fair is a two day event celebrating spring. This event has live entertainment, food and crafts for kids and adults. I enjoy the vast majority of foods sold and the amazing dresses that women wear.
Advice for your students:
The best advice I can give to any student is please seek for help when you need it. Whether you are a prospective student or a student attending a University/College, we all need help and there is someone out there ready to give you a helping hand. Don’t give up those dreams just because you can’t or won’t ask someone to help. I am a graduate from the University of Idaho; I know what it is to be a student here and look forward to sharing that with you. I am here to help you succeed through the process of applying and through your journey as a student. I can speak Spanish and can translate for parents as needed.
