A parking permit is required  to park on campus. All colored lots require a valid permit between the hours of 6 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday - Friday. Some lots and/or some individual spaces require permits until 9 p.m. or 24 hours, entrances to all lots are posted with signage designating enforcement times, individual spaces enforced beyond 5 p.m. are also posted with signage.

Visitor Permits
Visitor permits are available for purchase for $2/day at the Parking Office located on the corner of Third and Line Street across the street from the Student Recreation Center (880 West Third Street).
  • Visitor permits are valid in any regular space in any colored lot on campus (Gold, Red, Blue, Purple, Silver, Green)
  • Visitor permits are also valid in designated Visitor parking spaces, as designated by signage and as shown on the campus parking map
  • Visitor permits are NOT valid in meters, timed spaces, reserved spaces, service/delivery spaces, disability spaces (except when a state-issued Disability permit is also displayed), anywhere on the campus walkway system, or in any area not designated as a space
  • 1-day Visitor permits or 10-day Visitor permits are available

Will you be staying overnight on campus?

Overnight parking is allowed in all Purple, Silver, and Green lots on campus. In addition, overnight parking is available in Blue lot 60 on Sweet Avenue and Blue lot 30 at Facilities Services. Overnight parking is NOT allowed in any other Blue lot, Gold, or Red lots. A valid permit is required in all colored lots beginning at 6 a.m.

Only going to be on campus for a few hours?
Pay-by-the-hour lots are convenient for someone who will be on campus for only a few hours or a half day, they are available in three locations on campus, hourly rates vary based on location. Credit/debit cards are accepted as well as coins. For more information about pay-by-the-hour lots, click here.

Meter parking is also available in various locations across campus, rate is $1/hour at individual meter parking spaces. Meters require coins for payment and are limited to either 30 minute parking, 1 hour parking, or 90 minute parking depending on the location.
