Pedestrians

Exterior stairs across campus will be reduced in size in order to decrease the overall amount of stairs that need to be cleared; stairs will be reopened when possible during clear weather. Barriers will be placed across portions of stairs to prevent pedestrian use. Alternate routes of travel are available and are encouraged to be used in order to ensure safe travel across campus

Sand and deicers will be used on sidewalks, steps, and other pedestrian areas; sand containers will be placed around campus, this sand is available for use by anyone to spread in areas that immediately need more traction.
