Sweet Sounds at Annual Arboretum Concert

MOSCOW, Idaho – June 30, 2014 – “Summer Breezes and Sweet Sounds,” the annual outdoor concert featuring local musicians and composers, will be July 14. It is sponsored by the University of Idaho Arboretum Associates and the Lionel Hampton School of Music.
The free concert will begin at 7 p.m. on the west side of the upper pond in the arboretum on Nez Perce Drive, near the UI golf course. Dan Bukvich, professor in the Lionel Hampton School of Music, is organizing a program highlighting various local ensembles.
Parking is available at the golf course lot as well as along the street. Limited transportation from the street to the concert area will be available for anyone who has difficulty walking to the site. Please allow time to find a seat before the concert begins.
Concert-goers are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating. In case of rain, the concert will be canceled.
