Sustainable Idaho Brown Bag: Stateline Wetland Revitalization Project
Thursday, February 18 2010 at 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM
Sustainable Idaho hosts a presentation by the University of Idaho Women in Science group. The student group has worked as project managers, laborers and grant writers over the past several years to restore a wastewater treatment wetland on the outskirts of the University campus. In addition to habitat revitalization, the group is working to turn the site into a community wildlife park, complete with a wildlife observation deck with a living roof, walking trails, and interpretive signage. The brown bag presentation, titled "Stateline Wetland Revitalization Project" will be on Thursday, Feb. 18, at 12:30 p.m. in the Idaho Commons Crest Room. For more information about the presentation, contact Alecia Hoene at (208) 885-6113 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
