Scott Receives Public Service Award

J. Michael Scott, professor of wildlife resources and leader of the Idaho Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit, received the 2010 Spirit of Defenders Award for Public Service from the Defenders of Wildlife. The award recognizes Scott’s innovative, scientific research and development of effective tools to inform decisions on how to best protect biodiversity on public lands. Scott received the award Sept. 22 in Washington, D.C.
